AUSTRALIANS remain determined to achieve major life goals despite growing financial pressures, new NGM Group research reveals. The national survey found 73% consider home ownership essential to financial success, while 54% prioritise housing and financial security. However, 59% expect significant sacrifices to achieve their ambitions, with 47% cutting expenses. Regional Australians report greater optimism about home ownership, retirement and lifestyle goals than metropolitan residents, highlighting changing opportunities.
