Wenty Leagues hosts free community event for Emergency Services Day

WENTY Leagues has announced its upcoming free community event Emergency Services Day.
This event is a unique opportunity for local families and community members to come together in celebration of our everyday heroes. This special event is part of the club’s ongoing Heart of Wenty initiative, which is focused on supporting and connecting the local community.
The event will be held on Sunday, June 15, from 11am to 2pm in the front car park of Wenty Leagues Club, and promises a fun-filled, educational day for people of all ages.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet first responders from St John Ambulance, NSW Fire and Rescue, the State Emergency Service (SES), NSW Police Force, and NSW Ambulance.
These local heroes will be onsite showcasing their vehicles, sharing their knowledge and offering live demonstrations of the critical work they do to keep the community safe.
In addition, Paw Patrol’s Chase and Marshall will make a special appearance with a meet-and-greet and photo opportunities.
Children will be especially delighted with hands-on experiences including the chance to explore emergency vehicles and ask questions directly to first responders. There will also be face painting available for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds supporting Holroyd SES and their vital work in local emergency response and disaster recovery.
“Wenty Leagues is thrilled to bring the community together again for a day that celebrates these incredible individuals and organisations,” a spokesperson said.
Emergency Services Day is open to all members of the community and is a meaningful, family-friendly day filled with activities.
