IDO IDO has a Christmas gift for the Children’s Hospital

IDO IDO, a leading wedding stationery studio based in Western Sydney, is working with The Children’s Hospital at Westmead to personally deliver gifts to children at the hospital.

The studio is also on a mission to raise funds for The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) this Christmas season.

The team, led by a brother-sister duo, Eren and Ebru Caliskan, aims to bring smiles to children’s faces at the time of year that can be most difficult.

Familiar with their own experience of hardship, the siblings lost their father, Beyti Caliskan, to cancer in 2023. Beyti, alongside their mother, Dilek, founded IDO IDO in 2001, which began as a search for DIY supplies and has since expanded.

IDO IDO, within a 24-year period, has serviced more than 20,000 couples. Eren and Ebru Caliskan are determined to continue building their parents’ legacy by servicing their customers and the greater community on a national scale.

Their studio offers in-house luxury and custom-made products for weddings and events, full photography and videography services, their own alcohol label, personalised gift hampers, unique dance floors, and a tech space for weddings and events.

IDO IDO also intends to take their goodwill and action for real change by holding a community Christmas Fun Day: ‘A Christmas For Every Child.’

The day will be at Parklea Markets (Main Carpark near Entry 1) on Sunday, December 14 from 10 AM – 3 PM, aiming to bring the greater community together.

Festivities include live entertainment and activities, a community-led BBQ (donations from the BBQ will also go towards The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation), a free Santa photo opportunity, and a representative present at the event from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
